What this site is

Scion Fieldnotes is an independent editorial project. We explain Anthropic Scion through primary-source research and connect the discussion to tools and workflows that developers can investigate today.

This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Anthropic. Anthropic and its product names belong to their respective owners. Our visual identity and diagrams are original; this site is not official product documentation.

How we research and write

Articles are drafted with AI assistance and checked against the primary documentation linked on each page. The publication is credited as the author; we do not invent individual expert credentials, customers, reviews, or benchmark results.

We distinguish documented capabilities, vendor-reported observations, and our editorial analysis. A linked repository may be an independent implementation or a namesake project; it is identified accordingly.

Dates, scope, and corrections

The initial research was checked on 14 October 2026. This is a dated editorial snapshot, not a live status service. A release after that date may change availability or compatibility. Each article links to primary sources so you can verify its claims.

Future updates should change the visible verification date and article modification metadata together. Corrections should describe the changed fact and the source supporting it.

Tools and commercial relationships

The CI calculator runs in your browser using the inputs you supply. It provides a scenario estimate rather than measured Scion performance or a promise of savings.

There are no paid placements, affiliate links, or products for sale in this first edition. Any future sponsorship or paid placement should be identified where it appears.
